FALL : Let Go For Your Health’s Sake
According to Chinese medicine, the best way to stay healthy during a particular season is to learn about its nature and to live in harmony with its character and spirit.
The Fall is when nature slows down and plants and animals prepare to rest.
The fall is associated with the metal element within each one of us.
This element gives awareness of our sense of self worth...to practice more self care and self love.
This season helps us focus on our internal mental and emotional health, wellness, and development instead of seeking value externally...like money, status, etc.
Emotionally the fall is linked to the lungs. Healthy lung energy helps the body:
- Clear thinking and communication
- Positive self image
- Openness to new ideas
- Ability to relax and LET GO
If the lungs become imbalanced you can experience grief and difficulty in LETTING GO, which can then lead to constant sadness and depression.
