Give Yourself Love
In this season of giving...give yourself some love!
“It is more blessed to give than receive.”
Giving is a natural way for us to shed emotional weight.
It does not always mean we are putting our emotional baggage onto someone else.
Many of us hold things inside. And the only way to express our emotions is to do a physical act. ⠀
For instance, when many of us do not feel cared for, we automatically may want to care more for others. Or if there is a lot of grief inside we are drawn to help those that grieve. ⠀⠀⠀
Giving of time and energy is a natural way of processing emotions that may be hidden.
The act of giving can help us truly dig deeper and shed emotions, and ultimately lead us to taking better care of ourselves.
