Two questions I have received in the office this week:
I’ve taken CBD but it hasn’t given me results I expected, why?
Everyone is unique, everyone has their own body type and Endocannabinoid System. Some individuals require different amounts of CBD oil because chronic conditions such as autoimmune, lime disease, Nero degenerative, fibromyalgia, etc. may require more CBD then non-chronic conditions.
You may have to increase strength of your CBD oil, increased dosage, or change brands to get the results you want. For example, most CBD brands have bottles of 500 to 1000 mg and that can be seen as a low-dose when it comes to chronic conditions. Some companies have high dosages equal to the amount of 100 mg of CBD in one dropper full. It may take investigation and trying different brands and strengths, but eventually most individuals find the CBD that is good for their ECS system.
Another thing to look at is the extraction process of CBD. My good friend Erin Crawford at @herbanmarket pointed and reminded me of this. (Thanks Erin!)
There are two types of extraction methods. The first is CO2 extraction and the second is ethanol extraction. Many prefer CO2, simply because no alcohol is involved as it is in the ethanol process. Some individuals are sensitive to alcohol, and if this is you, don’t choose the extraction process of CO2.
Oil bases are very important and something to look into when choosing a CBD. Some companies use olive oil, Hamp or oil, coconut oil, etc. if you are sensitive to any of these oil‘s do not use that CBD product. Find the product with the oil‘s or tincture properties that your body can properly break down. Again it may take some trial but you can find one that is clean for you!
Where do I go to get my CBD? What sites or companies can I trust?
The companies that I have mentioned in the last post are companies that have shown me integrity. I have never had a bad experience with these companies, and I have not had anyone tell me that they were treated badly from these CBD oil manufacturers.
I have been in the supplement game for a very long time, and I am very careful with which products I endorse or suggest. Are usually spend about a year on certain supplements and products before I even recommended them. I believe these companies are safe and can’t be trusted. If you have ever had an experience that was not great with these companies just let me know. I am all about quality control and working with companies of high integrity.
Again, I am not trying to get anyone to purchase anything from me, I just want to give you the options. You can check these companies out on their website, and you can email or message me about any of the product info. I will have some product info up on my website here very soon.
Next week we are going to talk more about dosages, detox with CBD, strength of the oil’s, and more more more. Have a great weekend!
